  • Lovely dinner last night with my harvest.
Salad to start - mixed lettuce, cucumber and radish
Garlic, shallots and plenty of peas for my Prawn and pea
    risotto.

"Oops forgot! Also basil and mint / stirred in the risotto at the end.."

    • the first loganberries. They're a bit bleh, I might just leave them for the birds.

2 punnets of strawbs, 2 carrier bags full of broad beans again. A bread bag of peas (with lots more to come), more lettuce than I can eat, onions, kale.

How many plants do you have and at what size do you pick them?

          • Strawberries. Loads of them. We seem to be getting about a pound a day and are now getting to the 'give them away because we've had enough' stage.

                • Strawberries, strawberries and more strawberries. Potatoes for supper, mint to cook them with and parsley and sage to eat with them. And some lemon verbena to stick in a sneaky whisky & ginger ale
Is there anything that isn't made better by half an hour pottering in the veg patch?
