"Blue" tomatoes from both the polytunnel and outside (because of Bordeaux mixture, yeuk!... but at least the blight seems under control after removing every affected leaf and fruit the instant I've seen it). Tricky stuff to wash off! Lots of French beans, climbing ones, Fortex (brilliant!) and Gourmandine, dwarf. Courgettes, more cherry plums, and a couple of yellow beetroot.
Wow very impressive, how do they taste compared to say a charlotte?
That's a good question, having never tried charlotte I cant answer it, but I will next year because I am growing some then. All I can say is that I found them delicious also blemish free and good looking.
Today, first ever parsnips, loads of courgettes ( think I've overdone them), onions, potatoes, chard, climbing French beans, beetroot and some good looking carrots, and some flowers.
Ha, forgot can't upload from here, will go to main site.
A good container flu is raspberries, enough sugar snap peas for dinner for 2, 2 courgettes, some Lady Cristal potatoes and I'm off to get a few carrots now
