  • Brought home a kohl rabi, a courgette, a huge head of calabrese, some spinach beet and some parsley from my friend's garden that I have been looking after. Harvested peas, more courgettes, mizuna, pak choi, lettuce, a couple of tomatoes and some potatoes from home. Struggling to keep up with everything that's ready at the moment. Didn't stop me sowing more kohl rabi or ordering seeds (winter cabbage, mooli and chard) though!

                • Picked my first African Queen yesterday. After I'd cut out all the rotten bits, we all had a tiny taste if the most sweetest tomato. All the toms with blossom end rot have been removed, and that was more than half of them

Have just received some Firecrest in the post this morning from you MH (via VC of course). Cannot wait to try them next year!

A big harvest for me today - bag of broad beans, bucket of Lady Christl potatoes, onions, calabrese, peas, flowers, and a rather scary amount of blackcurrants (over 9 lbs)
Blimey WPG, you've got more blackcurrants there than our local supermarket! Just about my favourite fruit, so yum.
