            • Some chillies - Yay!!! Jalapenos I think.

Anyway, I made the Evil Chlli Chutney from the Preserves section and - guess what - I broke the jars!!! So the chutney is still in the saucepan while I'm trying to think of a way to keep it.

              Any suggestions (no jars left)?

                  • Hi there.

Back from a week away in a cold, damp caravan to lots of veg and today I had:

sweetcorn - grown in polytunnel - didn't think it would be ready but it was delicious!
                    baby corn - " " "
                    green beans
                    fine beans
                    broccoli
cauliflower - but had to bin it as it had gone brown and google told me it wouldn't be good...
                    strawberries
                    red (yes RED) tomatoes (polytunnel)
                    1 cucumber

and have lots of peppers, chillis, aubergine, courgettes and lettuce to pick tomorrow to get stored up - quite fancy some of the chilli / chutney recipes but no jars?

Brilliant... Still couldn't convince the kids to try the broccoli even though they had picked it just 20 minutes earlier from the garden!

                    Jen x
