  • The very first thing that I have ever grown myself - a raddish. I didn't think that I liked raddish but this one tasted wonderful - nothing like the bitter slices I remembered as a child! I can't wait now for everything else to be ready.

    • mint and some Durham Early cabbges as greens, they have taken ges to grow and I needed the space. Tasted lovely!

        • Beet spinach, broad beans (soooo tasty!!!), All Year Round lettuce (triffid sized after all that rain) and the one globe artichoke that we managed to grow!
          If it ain't broke...fix it til it is!

            • A strawberry, some calvolo nero and itty bitty broad beans. Oh and radishes. I have many, many radishes.

                spinach for canneloni
                coriander for carrot and coriander soup
                purple radish
                lollo rosso
                chives for in my mashed potato
                rhubarb for crumble

                        • pak choi, mizuna, beetroot leaves, spring onions which all went into a fritada along with the freebie eggs from a lady i gave some tomato plants to, with a side salad of lollo rosso and romaine. yummy. first proper meal of the year

                                Was chuffed to nuts, especially with carrot, have never grown a carrot before and they didn't even fork or have flies in, yay! haven't sown nearly enogh though!
