            • Honestly, after harvesting everything that 'moved' for my local Village Show last weekend, I'm kind of thankful just to sit and look at the ruddy produce to be perfectly honest (?!) so, you'll have to forgive my lack of reverence here for now, because if I SEE another vegetable at twenty paces...... you get my drift?!

              And I'm sure that I will post up again here very shortly, once I get my sense of humour back

              • First early spuds, remainder of broad beans except those left on plants for seed next year, 6 beetroot, some roasted and pickled. Some roasted and eaten. First year growing beets, well pleased with the results. All red onions lifted, bit on the small side.

                          • Cherries, raspberries, strawberries.
                            Kale, french beans, potatoes, courgette, cucumber, lettuce and other salad leaves, spring onions and tomatoes.
                            Lunch time salad, dinner and dessert
                            I could not live without a garden, it is my place to unwind and recover, to marvel at the power of all growing things, even weeds!
                            Now a little Shrinking Violet.

                              • Just as a change from redcurrants - 2 lb of loganberries, 1 lb of raspberries, Cobra french beans, broad beans, five courgettes (2 x green, 2 x yellow, 1 x white (pale green)).
