Today I Mostly Harvested......

  • Over the weekend I have harvested tomatoes, cucumbers, potatoes, strawberries, redcurrants, blackcurrants, strawberries, raspberries and a handful of blackberries and a handful of cherries.
    I made 10 lbs of jam from the blackcurrants and will be making raspberry jam tomorrow.

    • Yesterday we harvested our first potatoes of the season \o/, some French beans, 6 beetroot's, 6 little gem harts, radishes, Cabbage ( Greyhound ), PSB...

          • Lifted all my onions and garlic this wkend all strung up and drying nicely in the stable no fear of count dracular visiting i can tell you alos pulled my first runners of the year about 2lb so some for dinner rest i will freeze , courgettes , baby cucumbers that i will pickle (just to give me and everyone i know a rest from the adults) 3 red cherry toms also the first of many

            • well i do feel pleased with myself today.......i harvested my first marrow today.....first one i have ever grown too, so proud of myself too ...and i know its not much but i pick my first 5 beans too.....oh so exciting........i saw my first tomato going red too mmmmmm cant see that getting home ha ha ha ha.

                          loads of frenchies and runners, courgettes (which are already coming out my earholes), lettuce before it bolts (gonna save the seed), beetroot.
