Today I Mostly Harvested......

Two bowls full of tomatoes from the greenhouse. Sungold and Gardener's Delight. Still suffering a bit from last night so didn't make it to the lottie. Tomorrow if the weather stays dry.

About 6 courgettes, 5 patty pan squash and about 3/4 lb of mangetout. Loving it!

2kg beef tomato, some black cherry & roma tomatoes, runner beans, peas, 6 cucumbers and 1 autumn raspberry and some windfall cooking apples.

MORE COURGETTES, also tomatoes and the last of the broad beans. A handful of french beans and a lettuce. Also lots and lots of weeds!!

Today, I mostly harvested the rest of the viable fruits of my labour, until, maybe, if I'm 'smiled on', a follow-on-crop of anything that feels like putting in a second appearance 'just for fun', and then we can deal with that crop at a later date, but for now, Wellie needs to put these to excellent culinary use at their freshest, so forgive me if I disappear on you immediately.

3 long courgettes and 1 round, also 3 x beetroot, cos lettuce, a few runner beans, and another bagful of blackberries. Wish I was having success with my cucumbers though.

It's been a while since i posted on here what i've harvested, so over the last couple of weeks i have picked & eaten, French Beans, Carrots, Charlotte Potatoes, Purple Sprouting Broccolli. Peas, Garlic, Courgette (still waiting for it to get into its stride!), loads of tomatoes, Cucumbers, Blueberries and Beetroot.

And you know what? I really rather chuffed with myself!

2 handuls of dwarf fench beans (ferrari) for tea
20 big fat caterpillars off my Kale plants!

I bag of Elgar potatoes, 6 carrots, runner beans, a huge courgette, 6 onions (very small though) peas and one patty pan squash/yellow scallop squash about 4" across....yey my first one.
Courgette, carrots and patty pan were roasted, beans, potatoes and peas were boiled. Delicious!
Onions are drying out...oops just remembered I left them on the shed roof...must go get them

More tomatoes than I can shake a stick at! Turnips harvested, blanched and frozen

7 golden crookneck squash, 3 marrows - all on the For Sale table outside
Onions (Hercules, Stutgat Giant, Santero, mixed shallots and a red one...) all with wireworm damage!
Garlic (wireworm don't seem as keen on these)
Spring onions, carrots, Ruth Bible beans (my fave)
4 sweetcorm (yum!)
Lots of tomatoes (Suncherry, Gardener's Delight, Tiger) and some green ones from where I've defoliated and knocked them off (Blight has been spotted yesterday)
