Today I Mostly Harvested......

A punnet full of yummy strawberries from the lottie. Its south facing and there are masses more to come .

Finished off the PSB and lifted a nice sized garlic bulb to use wet.Over wintered in the greenhouse.

A handful of Oskar peas and a lovely Valdor Lettuce.

2 radishes and a load of mint (already made into mint sauce!)

broad beans, first of the year!!! Also a lone strawberry.

some pea shoots (which im not too keen on!) i'll stick to growing them for peas next year

Salad leaves, lettuce, rocket, pea shoots, radishes and today six gherkins for my pickling jar. WOOHOO the harvest begins slowly!

Was able to give my lovely neighbour a handful of rocket, which made me feel really proud

Had a few things this week. It's exciting to think that it will be daily harvests in a few short weeks...

My first cucumber of the year!! It's a mini white (well, yellow really) - the plants are still quite small, but the cucumbers are coming quite fast - exciting! Not even a flower on the tomatoes yet though :-(

A handful of Radish today. Had 1 strawberry yesterday. Tomorrow hopefully more strawberries and some of the spring onions remaining from last years sowing.

Nothing, but the neighbours children each tried a raw broad bean, which they promptly spat out (I did warn them... me, I love scoffing them raw!)

Broad beans, kale, too many lettuces (turning bitter now in the prolonged heat & drought), and a few bolted onions

2 pods of broad beans, 1 strawberry which grandson and I shared there and then (the bladdy birds had had the others), and a bunch of sweet peas. Pathetic, but everything is so dry.
