        • Toady was a big one -
An enormous bowl full of broad beans, sugar snap peas, purple mange tout and garlic scapes - all destined for the freezer.
My first two Gold Rush courgettes - have picked 'em small and plan on sauteeing them to accompany pesto pasta dinner tonight.
And some more sweet peas - I have 2 perpetual vases of them in the house at the mo.

                        • Things are a-coming in thick and fast now

                          New potatoes- pentland javelin
                          Baby carrots
                          Spring onions
                          Long radishes
                          Lots of salad leaves
                          Raspberries

I nearly picked a courgette, but I will leave it for Saturday. The eatable bit was only about 5cm long, so it should be ready by then.

Right. Off to wash veg, then scoff a huge bowl of salad leaves with spring onions and feta cheese for lunch. Happiness!

                          • Still just radishes and two strawberries here. The bunnies are enjoying the radish tops. I dont think it will be too much longer for my spring onions and baby turnips though!
