Today I Mostly Harvested......

  • A couple of bell peppers from the greenhouse, and four beetroots. Plenty of small ones yet to be picked, i think that i'll be doing some baby beetroot pickling soon

      • At the walled garden I am slowly reclaiming (subject of one of my blogs) today I harvested savoy cabbage, carrots, PSB, leeks, tomatoes, cucumber, lettuce, silver chard and some sweet peas.

                • Picked the rest of the beetroot (did not realise i had that many
                  Left!) Also picked some more tomatoes that have ripened

                        I still have a tomato plant outside that is still producing, did not think i would still have tomatoes growing in November!

                        I will be picking some more of the tomatoes later

                            • A leek. Several beetroots, parsnips and some chard. All want into a lovely roast chicken dinner. The roasted beetroots were sublime.
