He's called Arthur for those of you who like to know these things and he's 12.
I do - I'd love an Arthur, maybe a Martha and perhaps a Clara. A kid named Billy would be good too.

                • Well, today we had mange tout out the freezer from last year! On Sunday I cut mixed lettuce leaves and perpetual spinach from out of the greenhouse for lunch and we had curly kale out the garden with our roast in the evening.

                    • Yesterday I mostly sat and watched the rain give my garden a well needed watering.

Today I'm doing much the same.

Giving the big hurry up to my autumn veges............could be a frost tonight tho so might be all over red rover for a few things out there by tomorrow morning.
I love that even when I'm cooking with store bought things there's usually something - even if it's just a spring onion, from our garden. Tis a sad night when nobody has to go out and grab something for me. Ali

                              • Tomato plants haven't carked it yet altho it's been -1C a couple of nights. The punkins gone to God tho. Tomato's and spring onions today. And some parsley, basil and garlic chives. Might throw half a Mountain pepper leaf in to make it hot and spicy. Called Cornish Pepper Leaf over there apparently. Now I just have to work out what the heck 'scallions' are.
