      • My first ever homegrown asparagus .......'twas one spear, OH handed me the knife saying I should have first cut (luckily it's a raised bed , can't bend) and we shared it .....raw and it was beautiful

            • Leeks and rhubarb.....again! With fresh eggs also. Could have got a picking of PSB but I like it freshly cut and the dinner was already half made so it wouldn't have been used straight away.

                • Rhubarb, purple sprouting, spring greens and the first crop sown this year of radishes (of course). I know some people think of radishes as a kid's veg (if they think of them at all) but I love them and the first new picking of the year is always a special moment as it signifies to me that the plot is productive again.
                  I am frustrated by my dismally functional choice of Username. Grr...

                              • My first mange tout - well yesterday actually but I didn't post then They were lovely.

                                Some of us live in the past, always talking about back then. Some of us live in the future, always planning what we are going to do. And, then there are those, who neither look behind or ahead, but just enjoy the moment of right now.
