    • I picked (and immediately scoffed) my first ever strawberry today. I had some tasty veg last year but this was sublime. Can't wait for my first raspberries, I think they are even better than strawberries.

        • Mornin peeps!
Yesterday I had radish and tiny carrots and leaf lettuce on my sandwich and in the evening a whole pile of herbs and spring onions in the bake. During the day tho I was feeling like picking at food so I went out and had a taste test of some of the herbs. It was great, didn't feel hungry really but wanted a nice taste in my mouth I guess. We could start the Herb Diet

          • Raddish!!!

I harvested my first raddish the other day and some more today around lunch time. Well pleased as its the first edible plant I've grown Tasted like nothing I've ever tasted before and so much better than stuff from the shops.

                • hi, every gardener loves rain but there is to much of it now and it's time to complain as all my broad beans are not standing tall anymore tomato plants even though they are all staked are looking a bit sad... with the temperature drop last night.
however today I harvested lots of herbs to make a nice bouquet garni for a tomato chicken soup, some spring garlic and spring onion for a potato salad and a lettuce , radishes and a handful of rocket salad ...not bad, everything is coming along very well.
Courgettes will be ready in about a week ,so really looking forward to pick my first one.
