  • A handful of raspberries that hadn't been eaten by the bladdy snails or rotted due to the incessant rain.

    • Where to start?

      Lettuce (multiple types), tomato, cucumber, spring onion and radish - all for lunch.

      Cabbage (primo), green sprouting broccoli, calabrese, carrots, french beans, peas, mange tout, fennel and cauliflower - some of which will be used for dinner, some frozen and some passed on to family members. I was even able to trade cabbage for beetroot with a fellow plot holder

      • All veggies for evening meal - potatoes, spinach, carrots, courgettes and a few runner beans.
        A weed is a plant that has mastered every survival skill except for learning how to grow in rows

        • Today I fetch home a cucumber for the boy and three cauli's one for our sunday dinner tomorrow and two for the freezer. Freezers filling up nicely now.

                    • Nearly the last of the broad beans, some pathetically small garlic and some more raspberries.

                      • Blueberries, blackcurrants, raspberries and a few woodland strawberries. Not a lot of each but more than enough for breakfast
                        Nearly forgot, a seed tray full of potatoes grown from leftovers in the soil from last year's crop!!

                              • I just harvested some brocolli for our tea, it's not much but it's my home grown

                                I was about to pick some Kale too but there were lots of spiders in them which put me off.

                                My favourite animal is steak...

                                Life expectancy would grow by leaps and bounds if green vegetables smelled as good as bacon.
