        • Water, sugar, parsley and a bit of vinegar = parsley "honey" In other words slightly herby sugar syrup!

          • Hope it sets more than a syrup! It says in the recipe that it sets overnight, so i will let you know how it goes!

                        • Not today but Friday, I harvested some broad beans. Not only have I never grown them before but i've never tasted them before.

My oh my, they didn't last for todays stew, I peeled the skin from them and ate them as I done it, tasted amazing. Maybe the next lot will make it to the plate.

Early in the season pick some young, gently steam them and eat them pods and all.

                            • Had a roast chicken dinner yesterday (very nice it was too!!), and for that from the garden came:

Garlic, parsley, Oregano, basil and onion for the stuffing.
Carrots and Kohl rabbi for Veg
                              British Queen spuds...
Elephant Garlic and shallots for the roasting tray...mmmm!!
I dream of a better tomorrow, where chickens can cross the road and not be questioned about their motives....

                              ...utterly nutterly

                              • At last a half decent day.

Curly kale and runners for dinner, the rest for SWMBO to make my favourite cucumber relish.
