  • A nice selection of toms and various other goodies from the polytunnel. Just needed a pepper and a melon for every plant being grown to be represented, but maybe in a couple of weeks....

    • First two outdoor cucumbers (yay) Tomatoes (Roma, Marmande, Orkado) Basil to accompany them, Courgettes (natch) and Bramley apples and wild blackberries for a crumble treat for tea. Off to cook it now...

          • My spring planted onions - we're not going to have to buy onions for months! A carrier bag half full of runner beans. I love this time of year.

              I'm impressed

              I picked my only ripe tomato straight off the vine & my radish (last one) is beginning to bolt so that is getting pulled. Got some lettuce leaves on the kitchen window sill so shall have that with my hunters chicken in 10 minutes.

              • A handful of runner beans, 2 Tromba d'Albegna squash/courgette thingies, long red florence salad onions, couple of Scotland Yellow and a couple of Gartenperle tomatoes.
                A cos lettuce and some rocket and I picked rhubarb to go in some chutney
