Half a carrier bag of runner beans (more chutney methinks), a courgette, some French beans for the freezer, 2 giant cucumbers, tomatoes and a pathetic haul of greengages. Last year I was picking them in buckets ... this year, barely enough to cover the bottom of an ice-cream container! And spuds for dinner tonight.

Mr Helgalush went to the allotment today and came back with:
- a carrier bag of spinach
- a carrier bag of rainbow chard
- a mystery squash (don't know if its meant to be ready for harvesting yet, mind)
- some nasturtiums for the bunnies
- some blackberries

13 chilli peppers (Cayenne) from the plant in the porch & some toms... Chopped the chillis up, along with 8 from the greenhouse, & put them in a freezer bag in the freezerAttached FilesChoccy
My favourite animal is steak...
Life expectancy would grow by leaps and bounds if green vegetables smelled as good as bacon.
