Yesterday, what's looking like the last few runner beans, I've a freezer full so gave them to my neighbour. Quite a few cherry tomatoes at last, though I must admit I think I ate half of what I picked!

Yesterday, 5 lbs or runner beans, 2 lbs of French beans, carrier bag of potatoes, 4 lbs of blackberries (not from the plot though - from a walk along the canal in the afternoon), 4 lbs of tomatoes - now passata and destined for the freezer, 2 cucumbers and 8 lbs of Katy apples. Season of mists and mellow fruitfulness!

Yesterday was toms, lettuce, spring onions, beetroot plus my first lemon cuc, then some Serbian beans, sweet pepper and chard all to go in a flan.

Today its runner beans and Kale.
