    • Land cress and a few fennel shoots. Although that's practically foraging - they're in my garden, but I didn't plant them! Fennel, fair enough, that's a perennial, but the cress must have been self-seeding itself around for several years.
      March is the new winter.

      • My daily bowl of mixed salad leaves, landcress, mustards, garlic tops and whatever else I can find. There's always enough, even through the winter to pad out a sandwich

Wonderful. I harvest a daily bowl too, and as you say, there's always enough. At the mo - lettuces Reine de Glace, Grandpa Admire and Red Iceberg. Mizuna and Spring Onions not big enough yet. Mr Noosner and I had a red-letter, or should I say red-iceberg-lettuce day yesterday because there was also enough for tea for two.

I didn't harvest anything yesterday but I did eat some flat leaf parsley as I was working, does that count?

You answered it yourself Lynne. PSB = Purple Sprouting Broccoli. And yes, in order to eat the parsley you had to harvest it

                          • Eggs for me, Chard for the chooks, and gramma for the slow cooker. Going to freeze it for pies and pumpkin/gramma cake. Since I have so much of the stuff I think I'll do some experimenting with it and see if I can make it into a savoury thing too. I like something that gives you so much to play with. They are massive.
