Land cress and a few fennel shoots. Although that's practically foraging - they're in my garden, but I didn't plant them! Fennel, fair enough, that's a perennial, but the cress must have been self-seeding itself around for several years.March is the new winter.

PSB Please, somebody tell me what that is. I feel all left out, an outcast, ostracized... booohhhhooooo!
Is that sumptuous looking stuff proper fresh purple sprouting broccoli?
It looks delicious! I want it for my tea!
I didn't harvest anything yesterday but I did eat some flat leaf parsley as I was working, does that count?

Eggs for me, Chard for the chooks, and gramma for the slow cooker. Going to freeze it for pies and pumpkin/gramma cake. Since I have so much of the stuff I think I'll do some experimenting with it and see if I can make it into a savoury thing too. I like something that gives you so much to play with. They are massive.Ali
