First few potatoes. Lady Christl. 500g from 2 morrisons flower buckets, which isnt a great return but at this stage of the season I'm happy. I was planning to take a photo but they were in the pan and in my tummy before I could think about it.
And a small bowl of radish. The more help a man has in his garden, the less it belongs to him.

I dream of a better tomorrow, where chickens can cross the road and not be questioned about their motives....

Chard (Bright Lights) which I sauted in olive oil and butter. Then poured on 3 whisked eggs and added grated farmhouse cheddar as it began to cook - corrr!
Lettuce (Reine des Glaces)
Rhubarb (Gad knows what sort)

mixed salad leaves - from a trough I planted under cover = really lovely
rhubarb - rescued the stems that were flattend by the winds
last years leeks - now tucking into lunch of leek & potato soup! oh and its topped with freshly picked flat leaf parsley (I guess that counts!!)
I left the single asparagus stem just in case there is another one by the weekend!

Actually my first cauliflower. Not just of this season, but ever, so yay me!
It actually had a rotten core (no idea why), but other half washed it out, cut off the bad bits, and we just had cauliflower and broccoli cheese for tea. Considered a success.
EDIT: Plus the usual; onions and lettuce...Last edited by Zenithtb; 29-05-2013, 12:41 AM.
