        • Last night I picked kale and peas, this morning it's rhubarb again. Just getting my jars ready for some rhubarb and ginger chutney.

                  • My usual mixed green salad for lunch - today = 3 different sortso f lettuce leaves, turnip leaves, purple pak choi, spinach, cabbage flowers, mispoona, rocket and some snipped onion tops. No radishes

                      How can anyone get sick of fresh food even more when its the first things you have harvested from your allotment that you have grown from seed ever hence the smiley face!

                            I have some small pods what do they taste like I don't like the thought of it as just touching the inside makes me cringe I eat the beans just something freaky about the pod for me

                            • Young bean pods taste like beans - they're not furry when they're babies
                              Just picked the first shallot of the year, to chop, greens and all, into a stirfry with some oriental mustard and cabbage leaves.
                              A couple of sticks of rhubarb for breakfast Sorted!!
