  • The first pickings of my summer sprouting along with some kale and broad beans

    • Strawberries, tomatoes, salad leaves and spinach, scallions, baby carrots, a cucumber, mange tout, regular peas, onions, lady crystal potatoes. And rhubarb, of course

      • Harvested "Swift" potatoes that were planted in Feb in the greenhouse. Very small crop of very small potatoes. Will be leaving the other bags alone for a few weeks.

        • Some baby carrots and a handful of beetroot. First strawberry didn't make it back from the plot it fell to a pair of sharp eyes. MINE.

                          • the first garlics: eyeball size. It's something I suppose. Also half a dozen spring onions and a lettuce. It's not very good. I'm usually bringing home bags of stuff this time of year

                              • harvested garlic, shallots, spring onions and cooked in butter to make a lovely sauce for my chicken and freshly harvested early spuds. mmmmmm it was lovely.
