Spring onions - oh, gorgeous! Have never grown them before. The usual (but never taken for granted) Mizuna and Webbs Wonderful. Pulled up some rogue tatters at lottie and was sorry I had as there were nine spuds the size of peas attached. Sorry, taters!
My Autumn 2016 blog entry, all about Plum Glut Guilt:
Leo has just eaten our first harvest of the year... 2 strawberries... He says they were yummy and is now asking for more... They others will be ready tomorrow and we will have peas in 2 weeks and potatoes, carrots, beetroot, onions, shallots and tomatoes in August along with a few others that I'm sure I have forgotten
Picked a good boil of French beans today from out of the greenhouse.. Also picked a spring cabbage and some calabrese. Had them with Gannon and a cheese sauce. Smashing
