              • Lettuce, radish, chives, marjoram, nasturtium flowers, a few baby broad beans (that the badger left behind - he takes a nibble and if it's not to his liking, leaves the rest of the pod on the ground!) and one raspberry (hint of good times ahead!).

picked the last of the sugar snaps...this year they are sugar sprint. delicious, but not as productive as some.

                          • Watered strawberries, pumpkins, sweet corn, brassicas and peas. Picked courgettes and gave to plot neighbour. Picked another big freezer bag full of peas. Dug up 2 early potato plants that had gone yellow so harvested about a dozen small spuds. Was given a cauliflower by neibour. Picked turnips for the chickens and beet root for all of us. ( Chickens have tops, we'll have the beets). Cut loads od salad and lettuce. Harvested mange tout from garden.

Froze broccoli, mange tout, peas, broad beans. Cooked beet root, had peas and new pots with dinner.

Came home and shelled peas - took nearly 2 hours but I was sat in the garden.
