Today I Mostly Harvested......

More courgettes, cucumbers, new potatoes, lettuce, basil and French beans. Might take a couple more cherry tomatoes at lunchtime and perhaps a bolted onion.

To those with courgettes - they were £1.62 per KG in our local budget supermarket this morning. Going to enjoy some of mine with pasta and home made pesto this evening.

Three different types of courgettes, they have finally start cropping instead of just rotting, sunburst squash, last of the radish rat tails, raspberries.

I harvested Strawberries this morning, I cannot believe how well they have grown this year. And it's so good to pick and eat immediately.

I have more Cucumbers waiting to be harvested when I get home.

Three different varities of courgette along with four of my chooks eggs = big plateful of frittata! A boiling of broad beans with vinegar on were a worthy accompanyment with some cold frittata left for my bait tomorrow!

Goody bag to bring home from allotment was:- Kestrel tatties, Troy onions,Sweetheart cabbage,one cougette and a large tupperware box full of goosegogs..........oh, and half a dozen eggs!
