My first sweetcorn, on the cob for lunch, delish. The dratted pigeons had shredded three cobs but still plenty left for me.
My first bundle of runner beans. I'm glad I persevered and that the third sowing thrived.
The onions that have been spread out to dry for the last couple of weeks.
Some Virginia Gold tobacco leaves, now hung up in the shed to dry.
Lettuce (salad bowl and lollo rosso), french beans, kohl rabi and a cabbage.

Ooh Martin, that's interesting. DH would love to grow tobacco (he's an occasional cigar smoker).
Yesterday I pulled up a little gem, some purslane, a runner bean, shepherd's purse and herbs, all for my lunch. Is there anything that isn't made better by half an hour pottering in the veg patch?
