Today's haul! 5 courgettes, 2 cucumbers, a massive haul of chard, two bolted lettuces (for the tortoise), another patty pan squash and more purple and yellow French beans.
Also snaffled a lovely smallish radish when thinning. The first from my plot! Nice but not as hot as I'd have liked.

Purple beans, purple beans and a few more purple beans. Will have to freeze them. Also more apples, tomatoes, a couple of cucamelons, minipop sweetcorn, carrots (which have been attacked by something, probably carrot fly I guess), purple dwarf beans, one yellow courgette, 3 sweet peppers... I think that's it. Oh no - 8 small red chillies to chop up and put in my pickling vinegar for the pickled onions.
Edited to add - AND AN ICECREAM TUB OF BLACKBERRIES.Last edited by Likac66; 26-08-2013, 08:17 PM.Likac66

From the current plot, I found another 5 courgettes, hiding. Another couple of handfuls of purple and yellow french beans. A bunch of curly kale. Then I cut a load of baby salad leaves from the beet root, spinach and lettuce.
Then dug up a load of potatoes which must have been strays on the new plot which weren't dug up and grew. The old plot owners also had some onions and garlic. They weren't in a good state, but I managed to salvage a decent amount of white and red onions and some very small garlic cloves.
Very proud as did a family BBQ this evening for 10 people. Made roasted veggies, a feta and spinach filo pie, giant bowl of salad, French beans tossed in garlic butter, pasta with ratatouille. And the only veg I had to buy was mushrooms cos I love them. So so happy.
