Yesterday, I harvested all the celeriac (10) and beetroot (17).
The celeriac weren't very big and the roots had branched out. I think I planted them in the wrong place...with too much manure and they could go out earlier for a longer growing season. But I think I'll definitely have another go at growing it, because I really like it and it's good for stews and soups. I put some in a stew yesterday and froze the rest.
The beetroots came out really well, some big roots. I'm going to pickle them today. 😄

This morning I lifted some of my first ever parsnips. These are 'Gladiator'. I hope they're nice because they're big and there are loads still in the ground!
Update: They were rather yummy in the end :-) ...

Harvested the last of my tomatoes on Saturday and a load of chillis yesterday...
Mini Chocolate sweet peppers too...
Also carrots, turnips, cabbage and potatoes...I dream of a better tomorrow, where chickens can cross the road and not be questioned about their motives....

Alberto's Locoto chillis from Real Seeds. They didn't get a chance to ripen to red, but I've tried one and it's hot enough for me.
