Today I Mostly Harvested......

  • Lettuce, nasturtiums, lemon balm, chives and two radishes for a salad. It doesn't sound like much but I'm so excited about it

    Very jealous of all those harvesting yummy soft fruit, but I'll be out and about with a bucket when the blackberries start, and there's always next year for my own fruits...

    • More strawberries then some chard and herbs for a flan

      • More basil for the freezer. Garlic. Just harvested about 10 Germidour - about half and half medium and small bulbs. Wish I'd left it until the Longest Day now, it might have put on a bit of weight. I'm leaving the other varieties until then.

            FF, I've also planted Germidour this year and am just a bit further north than you in Ilkley... thanks for the tip, think I'll leave mine in a tad longer.

              Tray of rasps, and tray of strawberries to be frozen, till I have time to deal with them.

                • This afternoon I empted one of the early bag of rocket potatoes I started 24th of Feb. There was more than I thought there was going to be. 4.41lb Also cut a calabrese. I lifted a few carrots for my journal video but replanted till there needed.

                      • Broad beans. My youngest GG helped me to harvest them, loved their furry inside, but couldn't believe how many we had to shell to get enough for 2 servings!

                            • 3lbs strawberries, 1 lb rasps, beetroot, chard, broad beans ,lettuce and another 1lb mange tout, and more onions. Now need to 'deal with it all'.
