Today I Mostly Harvested......

Always know when they are ready because the odd one gets nibbled. So sweet and tasty.

Also had more raspberries, strawberries, and 1 courgette.

technically not "what I did today" but what I did yesterday was.. picked some more raspberries and made some Raspberry Ripple Ice Cream. Never made it before and it is YUMMY!!!

Finished picking the gooseberries. Had so many I made a bit if jam and then froze the rest in convenient quantities for future use.

Picked 3lb raspberries before the rain came in

Another 5 lbs Aran Pilot spuds from tubs in front garden. That's all out there now.
Planted the empty tubs up with mixed flowers which I haven't done before. Look good

Picked another cucumber from greenhouse.

A quick trip to the plot to water and pick broad beans, a handful of peas and 3 courgettes. At he weekend I had 2 baby butternut squash and one has rotted so have raised the other off the ground with some mesh.

A few peas, 4 carrots, 3 Pentland Javelin potatoes (small), 10 strawberries and a cabbage

Also ate a couple of onions (Sturon) from last year's crop - just beginning to go a little green at the top but still firm, sweet and juicy.
