Beetroot, mixed lettuce, purple podded peas, toms, radish pods, and some sweet peas that I took round for my neighbour.

Salad tonight, so potatoes, tomatoes and spring onions from the garden. I just love going outside and picking up my dinner ingredients

Scarlet Emperor runners, Purple podded and Telephone peas for the freezer, then Lemon tree, gardeners delight and Black Cherry toms. plus some mint to make tea.

A few (hopefully still waxy) new potatoes for a potato salad, three beetroots, some white and some purple spring onions and a couple of lettuces before they bolt in the hot weather

Today's dinner was. Artichoke for starters. Main was chard, turnip and shallot curry. Pudding was a mix of raspberries, blackberries and blackcurrants. ALL from the allotment. I'm very proud indeed! Delicious.

4 tomatoes, various varieties, 2 others that had blossom end rot, and - fanfare - my first sweetcorn. Best tips on freezing please boys and girls because I have another 20 waiting to be picked and there's only me that likes it. I have cooked and eaten it straight away, in the interests of research of course.
