I could not live without a garden, it is my place to unwind and recover, to marvel at the power of all growing things, even weeds!
Now a little Shrinking Violet.

I did a colander full of spinach, which I stir fried up with some garlic and oyster sauce, just like mamma used to make.
Everything this season is going to be a first for me and I'll be doing a lot ofLast edited by WeeGarden; 29-05-2009, 07:55 PM.

Some heavenly Accent new spuds, a couple of onions for a bean and onion salad, rocket to make a rocket and feta cheese salad with and some broad beans. Bliss on a plate. When weeding, the best way to make sure you are removing a weed and not a valuable plant is to pull on it. If it comes out of the ground easily, it is a valuable plant. ~Author Unknown

huge french breakfast radishes (most are about 2" long, few whoppers at 3"!!!)
Sparkler radishes
spinach (beginning to bolt) (18" long)
pak choi from stir-fry mix salad (8" long)
Very pleased with the start of this years harvest! (Oh, pulled up some huge spring onions few days ago too - but they stay in ground all winter long anyway.)
