Today I harvested...just about everything. It's that time of year when we struggle to deal with the stuff that's filling our garden. As well as eating fresh veg I've been making jam and freezing stuff. Just discovered a bullace tree that's laden with fruit about half a mile from the house. Hope nobody gets to the ripe fruit before i do.

We had a 'Garden Stir-fry' today. What I harvested went in the wok...
Pak Choi (Black Summer)
2x Radish (Long Wht Icicle - would've been longer if I'd resisted urge to pull!)
8x Mini-Finger carrots - they really were mini - more thinnings really...
Beetroot
Kohl Rabi
& from a rogue potato plant (maybe the pea sized spuds from last year that I missed?) 3 baby spuds!

New potatoes - Charlotte - mostly about the size of a computer mouse.
At last a variety that suits my garden in Yorkshire, fairly moist & heavy soil. I only lost around 1 in 20 spuds to slugs - this is a miricle for my garden - and the plants are just about finished (mid July) before summer blight arrives.
Shallow eyes & clean up easily, no need to peel. Great in the kitchen.

Garlic, turnips, raspberries, peas, lettuce, french beans, cucumber, tomatoes.
Garlic was a bit on the small side but still really pleased with it, as it was the first time I have grown it.
