Thanks for looking into it. I have no idea what the weather.com API is like, but if it will support it that would be great.

If it's any use, I know streetmap.co.uk has a nice tool to convert postcodes to geographic data including latitude and longitude. For example, go to Grid Conversion Results to see date for BBC TV Centre. Replace the name parameter with the postcode you are searching for and you could easily parse the resulting data table.

        Sorry sorry sorry!!
I added a quick admin stats page and managed to knacker up the connection string in the config file. It's back up again now! I promise not to mess around with it again until at least tomorrow!

I've put an 8 degree alert on mine, so I'll let you know if I get an email as it is bound to go under that in the next few nights.

                      Good idea. Thanks.
The email task runs at 10am every day, so if you find you haven't got an email by tomorrow lunchtime then let me know in here and I'll try and find out what's wrong.

I've just registered, but all I was asked for was my E - mail address.
Have I missed a step somewhere.

I tried to log back in to see if I had missed something.
Got an error message saying e- mail and password don't match.
The e-mail is correct so maybe I made a typo in the password, but can't find anyway to correct that.

Did you get the confirmation email? You need to verify that you own the email address to stop people just making up email addresses and adding alerts for them.
