  • Growing tomatoes in baskets

    Hi
Could I have your opinion please as a new poster.
When you grow tomatoes in the greenhouse it is customary to pinch out the tiny side shoots to get the best growth. Should you do this with your growing hanging basket plants?
    Thanks

I think hanging basket toms are bush varieties so don't need pinching?

hoeandhoe - what variety have you got in there? As tamsin says the basket ones are usually bush and don't need pinching out....that's why they are good in baskets
