Potato support?

My potatoes in containers have got quite high, but in this wind they are blowing over and in danger of the stem snapping, is there a way of supporting them other than just tying to canes?

I've been growing some spuds in inside-out compost bags and they are getting a bit top heavy, so I've got some surdy 2"x1" timber in 4ft legnths and hammered them into the ground as close to the bags as I can get (Four round a bag - one at each corner!)
I've knocked them in a good foot so that they are really sturdy. Been pretty windy here recently, but they are standing up fine.
'Course, if you've got your containers on concrete or paving..... I don't know what to suggest, but someone else will. Good luck.

Some of mine, grew tall, blew over a month or so ago, i tried to tie them up by a cane at each corner with wire between, then they just grew over the wire, fell over,grew downwards, hit the floor, grew along a bit then headed back up again , ive just ignored them,
the only ones that did this are the early and fairly early sowed ones, the later sown ones are much thicker stems, higher and not falling over at all

It seems you have discovered the nature of the humble potato plant which is to sprawl rather than grow upright.
