Baby sweetcorn

Need some advice, have planted some and dont have a clue what to do next....they have all germinated, but how big do they grow?
are they for container growing or can they go out?

foolish of me I know, but my son loves them and it seemed a good idea

what is it, Minipop? That gets as high and wide as normal sweetcorn. About 5 foot tall.
Remember to plant sweetcorn in a block, for pollination. ****

**** my mistake - Minipop sweet corn is harvested as soon as the tassels show, before the sweet corn is pollinated. As Minipop does not need pollinating it can be planted in rows rather than the traditional blocks.

Mini corn plants do get about the same size as normal ones, but because you don't need them to either be pollinated, or swell the cobs, you can get away with planting them a bit closer together than normal corn, and/or all in a long straight row. The little corn is harvested before it's pollinated, so the plants don't need to be next to each other at all if it's easier to squeeze them into odd corners.

They don't need to pollinate and can be planted in a line. You can of course plant them in a block if that works better for you in terms of space.
