Hey I Nedd Help With My Red Onions

hey i'm 15 and i've planted some red onions into a fflowerpot.
i just need to know how long do red onions take to grow? and any tips to help them growing?
i water them every 2 days and recently i've checked on one of them (i planted 5 i think) and the roots were anout a inch and a half long the sprout (i thinkthats what the green leavy thing is caled) is about 2 inches long.

They take a few months to get to full size. Try to stop checking them every day and I promise you they will grow faster
Don't dig up the roots to have a look at them either, sit on your fingers, or start another pot with lettuce in it.

Do water them though

They will be fine, they just need time, water and sun.

hey, im 16 last year i was sort of in your position, the onions should be ready in early autum i say, and best thing i think you can do is to leave them alone, and once you get them going (about 6 inch tall) you wont need to water as much, if they were in the ground then you could even stop watering them and theyd be fine
