  • Crumply spinach

I've been happily growing some spinach in my veg patch..but some of the leaves on some of the plants are crumpled looking. It's not a crumpled variety (if there is such a thing)...is there something wrong with them?

Never known spinach to have a very smooth leaf and at this time of the year the young shoots do look a little crumpled. As long as it is a lovely green clour then keep picking and eating. It will soon go to seed this time of the year so make the most of it and get another batch sown.

Thanks Ian, I was worried it was some dreadful fungal disease or something. They're looking very healthy otherwise, and taste good, and I've sown another row, so I'll keep doing that.
