  • Tomato leaves

Hi all, not sure what this is on my tomato leaves.

Have hopefully attached a pic, the middle plant, some of the top leaves on it have started to change to a beige sort of colour. Wondering if any of you know what it is and whether there is anything I can do about it.

I get this every now and again, amongst other things. I just pick them off and give them a seaweed feed.

Actually, now you say it, the pots don't look very deep and you haven't filled them up enough with compost? And there is two per pot. I think you've squashed them a bit tbh, not that that is causing this problem though (I think)

You're right - get more soil in them [to about 10 mm from the top].

Its been constant rain and sun here lately. Would that explain it?

I have had a read up on here and saw that some people had said that 30cms would be ok for a final pot for them. Those ones are 40 just to be on the safe side. Is that fine?

Right, i'll top up the pot with more soil when I get back over to them.

              Cheers

Yes, we've got the same here, I've got some plants that look something like that.

Had some doubts about them. I thought it might have been too cold for them during the night still so I have brought them indoors as I'm not going to be back over there again until tomorrow now. They have had a good water today anyway, had thunder and lightning earlier.

Can sit by the back door and get a little bit of the light that comes in through the door. Won't do them any harm bringing them in I don't imagine.

What should I do about those few leaves? Will they be ok just left on the plant or are they best taken off?

Leave em on. Bring them in at night if it's too cold and put them out in the morning.
Protect them from this wind as well, it's a real killer.
