  • Newbie panic over cucumber plant!

Hi, this is our first attempt to grow anything and after a good start something is wrong with my cucumber plant It has white spots on the leaves, they look mottled? The leaves are curling up and dying. We've just been given an allotment and the last thing I want to do is take up dying plants to our new greenhouse! Please help!

i have only one young cucumber plant myself so can't offer huge help.
all i will say before someone far more useful comes along is that it is probably related to either a watering or disease problem
    are any other plants affected?

Sounds like it might be powdery mildew. I'm not totally sure what you should do about it though. I think I'd remove the affected leaves, if there are some healthy ones to leave behind. From what I've read, they seem more likely to get it if the plants get too dry, so check your watering.
