    No, because weeds out-compete your plants (being better suited to the conditions).

    things that will help include:

    1) sowing in marked, straight lines (anything outside the line is a weed)

    2) sowing in modules then planting out (it's what I do with most stuff)

      Hi twosheds. I did mark out my rows. Always so them with string. I did find that some cats had fallen in love with my freshly sown earth so after scooping out cat poo I think they disturbed the ground. Never mind I'll be back on track soon. Did LOTS of weeding.
