Still here! leaving work in about 10 minutes, back home 15 minutes after that, then I'll be nibbling in the garden.
Does anyone know what a turnip leaf is supposed to taste like?
(ps I'm a she not a he, at least I am at the moment, who knows what might happen after the forthcoming epicurial experiment!)Never say never!

Actually, I've had turnip leaves curried before, along with radish greens. Not sure what they taste like raw though and I can't speak chicken so can't ask

Righto - it's got a mild, slightly peppery flavour. It reminds me of something, but I can't think what. It's defo not lettuce so it must be turnip! My one and only turnip in fact, so it's a good thing it doesn't need pollinating.
I shall continue to nurture itNever say never!
