Hi - I picked up some at Wyevale this week as this is my first year and left it too late to plant seeds. Careful though as they had 6 for £2.49 in a grey rectagular pot or if you look about in the round brown pots I had 7 for £1.49 - made no sense to me but hey I am not complaining!
eye1der, I've had a sweetcorn disaster this year too. I've just done a last ditch attempt at resowing them, I figure if they only have time to produce 1 cob per plant, then I'll still get 15 cobs
Aside from that, you can still mail-order some plants too, one of the adverts at the top of the page I had a look at the other day and they're doing Swift i think, and Lark.
thanks everyone,
managed to track some down at hampdons plant world there about 4"high £8 for 36 plants. had another look at the seedlings they might survive, ive room for both sets..never enough corn yum!!!
