I was just looking through ebay for something to keep my seeds in, and was wondering what everyone else keeps theirs in?

I use a plastic 'hobby box' / tool box.

It is just the right size to have the packets stood up (three packets wide) with card dividers, think 'card index' style.

It closes tightly so keeps the seeds dry and has a handle for carrying. I have been thinking about getting a slightly larger one with a decent divided tray that sits on the top so I can keep labels, pencils, mini dibber etc with the seeds.

I keep mine in 2 big sweet tins, and current seeds in a tupperware box - I dont like to be too organised as I enjoy poking about and sorting through them frequently - OH says I look llike a schoolboy sorting out his marbles!

Mine are currently in a large shoebox (my boy has surprisingly large feet...)
But this has just got me thinking, surely the papers, magazine's etc which currently reside in a lovely wooden wine box (held 6 bottles) brought back from France would be much happier somewhere else.........

My other half bought 6 fairly dubious red wine bottles from Tesco - because of the wine box! - so I grabbed it and the seeds live in there
Just need to improve the dividers - currently too floppy!

Doesn't mean I don't have to browse through - but that's my lack of organisation rather than lack of a structure...

I was thinking that

All my veg seeds are in one biscuit tin and my few flowers in another - I frequently forget what I have, and buy more in Lidl or Aldi, invariably get given freebie ones from magazines that nobody wants and send off for freebies too. Currently I will be growing only Gardeners Delight tomatoes for the next 30 years
