Grass clippings in hanging baskets?

I would take the baskets down water well and find a shaded part of the garde to put them in.

Thanks for all the advice guys. In the end I asked my good friend (an allotmenteer) if he would pop round and water them. He was happy to do so as he goes past when he goes to the allotment. In fact he and our other friend both came round, watered the plants and enjoyed an ice lolly in our sunny garden so everyone was happy toms included
