Keep picking - they make great garden/lottie food - when you are doing long hours a good nibble can keep hunger at bay until you get home. The more you pick, the more it will continue to flower and produce more peas.
Great excuse to have fresh peas in pretty much every meal for a few weeks. I love them sprinkled raw on salads.

Had a few last week, not enough for a full veg portion but then again we didn't have enough early French beans either but they worked dead well together!

You can sow quite happily during June. I sowed a load direct about 10 days ago and they are already through and I would have sown some more today if it hadn't been peeing it down all day!

Most of my peas are like the aptly named Gardeners Delight tomatoes and never make it home!My Majesty made for him a garden anew in order
to present to him vegetables and all beautiful flowers.- Offerings of Thutmose III to Amon-Ra (1500 BCE)

I've been examining my peas at least once a day for the past week, since the first pods started to appear. How fat do they need to be to try them. This is the first time I've grown peas and I have never ever had a fresh pea in my life so dying to get my teeth into them.
