Whats everyone sowing this month?

Do brassicas grow better if you wait until after longest day, as i was gonna sow some more at the weekend- is it worth waiting? (Sorry if it sounds dumb but i haven't a clue since im a newbie )

As soon as the longest day is over, is when I sow my winter veg.....just like as soon as the shortest day is over I start sowing things I need in the summer.

Not sure if a week either way is better or worse, it's just a flag for me....
